Christ Church Free Little Food Pantry

Christ Church Free Little Food Pantry provides non-perishable food for families in need in our neighborhood and is located near the parking lot on Saratoga Road. Call the church office at 716-839-2460 for the latest collection items needed. Donation bins are located in the office hallway. Thank you for your support. 

Durham’s Maternal Stress-Free Zone

Durham’s Maternal Stress-Free Zone

Durham’s Maternal Stress-Free Zone provides support for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, their babies and families, emphasizing health, wellness, safety and nutrition through meals, workshops and a community garden. Christ Church gathers needed items and provides financial support.

The Family Justice Center

The Family Justice Center helps victims of domestic violence by providing free services for victims and their children through collaboration with 13 partner agencies in one safe and comfortable location.  Christ Church with other area churches helped to establish the Northtowns satellite of the FJC, gathers needed items, and provides financial support.

FPWNY

Family Promise of Western New York

Family Promise of WNY is an emergency shelter that keeps families together through the crisis of homelessness. Christ Church supports FPWNY financially, gathers needed items, and provides groceries for families staying at the shelter.

Habitat for Humanity Buffalo

Habitat for Humanity Buffalo

Habitat for Humanity Buffalo seeks to put faith into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.  In 1985, Christ Church became the first partnership church with Habitat Buffalo and we continue to provide financial support.

Hearts for the Homeless

Hearts for the Homeless clothes and feeds the chronic homeless, poor, and those in need. A red bin for clothing donations can be found at the back of our parking lot.

Journey’s End Refugee Services

Journey’s End Refugee Services welcomes refugees and assists them to become healthy, independent, contributing members of the community.  Since 1999, Christ Church has helped to resettle 9 families and regularly gathers needed items for new arrivals.

Make A Difference Day

Make a Difference Day is an annual event at Christ Church, gathering needed items for local ministries, opportunities to serve our community and free shredding services.

Seneca Street Church/ Seneca Street Community Development Corporation

Seneca Street Church/ Seneca Street Community Development Corporation – Christ Church supports the Seneca Babcock Community in Buffalo by preparing food for community meals, providing financial support and gathering items for their After School Program and Christmas Shoppe.

Turkey Basket Ministry

Turkey Basket Ministry – Christ Church partners with North Church every November to provide Thanksgiving meals for people served by numerous local agencies.

Hearts Food Pantry Express

Hearts Food Pantry Express is every Monday from 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm. It is a mobile food pantry serving local people in our church parking lot. Volunteers are needed to help distribute food. Please see a member of the Outreach team if you would like to help with this ministry.
