Join us for worship
Christ Church Amherst is proud to welcome young people in many different ways through our ministry. We believe that the experience of connecting young people with faith begins in worship. We treasure the voice and vibrancy they bring to worship, but understand that at times young people have energy to spare!
To that end, we have a Children’s Corner at the rear of our sanctuary to encourage young people to play accommodating both them and parents to remain involved in worship. For those seeking a different space, we also have the play space in the Sky Box which overlooks the worship space with the service transmitted into that space.
Beyond worship, we offer programming for young people through our Children’s Ministry Team. This includes digital resources and in-person experiences throughout the year.
Family Devotionals
Keys for Kids Ministries offers daily, powerful devotions for kids and teens, focused on keys to life, from a Biblical perspective. CUMC Kid’s Place
CUMC Kid’s Place is a new experience for children and their families that happens on the second and third Sunday of the month from September – June, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm in our Craft Hall.
During this time we explore our relationship with God and our Savior, Jesus Christ as a family through storytelling and crafting. All are welcome! Questions, contact Lisa Lawson at lglawson815@gmail.com.
Safety
We are a Safe Sanctuaries Church. This designation is given to a church that is intentionally committed to providing a safe, loving and nurturing environment where children can grow in their faith.
